Chocolate Banana Cake

Chocolate Banana Cake is super easy to make with using very handy ingredients. Chocolate Banana Cake is a vegan and eggless, but moist and delicious with the sweetness of mashed bananas. Bananas and chocolate are one of the most popular combinations — from breakfast to afternoon snacks to desserts, anytime you can eat!!!

Chocolate banana cake is my kid’s favorite they just love it, whenever they want a cake I have been making this as chocolate and banana blend makes this cake healthier. So tray this and make your kids happy in a healthier way…

Chocolate Banana Cake

Ingredients:

• 2 Ripe Banana (use overripe for best result)
• 2-3 tbsp Oil
• 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
• 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
• 1 ½ cup All Purpose Flour/Maida or Whole Wheat Flour
• ¾ cup Powder Sugar/Brown Powder Sugar
• ½ cup Coco Powder/Dark Coco Powder
• 1 tsp Baking Powder
• ½ tsp Baking Soda
• ¼ cup Milk/Almond Milk
• 2-3 tbsp Oil

Method:

1. First preheat an oven on 375° F or 190° C.
2. Take ripe bananas, peel them, and then place it in a mixing bowl and mash well using fork.
3. Now take sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda, coco powder, sugar powder in another bowl and mix well.

4. Add vanilla extract, oil, lemon juice in the mashed banana mixture and mix well.
5. Add flour mixture into the banana mixture and mix well. Add milk and again mix well until all lumps disappear.

6. Now grease the baking tray or cake tin (8 inch) with oil spray or you can brush it.

Oven Method

1. Place the tray into the oven and bake it for 35-40 minutes, then check it with toothpick. Insert the toothpick into the center of the cake. If it’s come out clearly means cake is ready, if not then bake it again for 5-10 minutes.

2. Now your chocolate banana cake is ready. Remove it on the cooling rack and let it be cool down. You can sprinkle whatever you like on the cake like some powder sugar, chopped dry fruits, chocolate icing, etc…. and it is ready to serve.

Pressure cooker Method

1. Set a thick layer of salt or dry soil on the bottom of the pressure cooker. Cover the lid without whistle and heat for 5-7 minutes on a medium flame.
2. Pace the prepared cake batter tray on the cooker stand in the pressure cooker and cook for 40-45 minutes on a medium flame without whistle.

Tips:

• You can use ½ tin of condensed milk instead of sugar and milk.
• You can add sugar level as per your taste.
• You can add any dry fruits or chocolate chips in this cake as per your choice.
• You can add 1 tbsp flex seed powder to make this cake healthier.

    Was excited about pressure cooker method until I read that it was not for an electric pressure cooker. I don’t have any insert for it either.
