Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan

Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan

Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan

Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan is one of the variation in Naan, which I the like most. Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan is tasty, delicious and healthy too, especially because of spinach. Here I am sharing how to make Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan with oven and without oven.

Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan

Naan is most familiar and very popular in the South Asian countries like India, Pakistan at in all restaurants and road side dhabas. There are different kinds of Naan, some are stuffed and some are not stuffed (plain). Plain Naan is obviously delicious but the Stuffed Naan is tastier too. There are different types of Stuffed Naan like Potato, Paneer, onion, Cauliflower etc. Today, I have decided to make Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan.

• Flour for Dusting and Rolling

Cheesy Spinach Filling
• 1 Bunch of Fresh Spinach
• 2-3 tsp Garlic Paste
• 1-2 tsp Crushed Red Peppers
• 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
• Salt

Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan

In Oven

1. Preheat the oven on maximum temperature.
2. Take a baking tray, grease it with few drop of oil. Place the stuffed naan on it, and brush it with oil or ghee.
3. Place the tray into the oven and then bake it for 5-7 minutes on highest temperature.

Stuffed Cheesy Spinach Naan

Tip:

• Always apply little water on rolled naan before cook on the griddle, so Naan can easily stick on tava/griddle. Use without non stick tava/griddle.

Whenever use baking powder not to add oil because oil is a substitute of baking powder. Both are acid. Oil is a liquid fatty acid whereas baking powder is a powder acid. While preparing naan dough instead of oil add ghee with baking powder.

Cheel Ni Bhaji Or Bathua Kadhi A sour and spicy yo Cheel Ni Bhaji Or Bathua Kadhi
A sour and spicy yogurt base curry is very popular in rural Sabarkantha, Gujarat. Cheel Ni Bhaji is very healthy. Mostly, Cheel Ni Bhaji is eaten with Makki ki roti or whole wheat flour bhakhri during winter season because this leafy veggie grows only in wintertime. It can be made without oil or any tempering, but some people add tempering over cooked curry, it is just by choice. Traditionally, it cooks in a clay pot over a clay stove with slow cooking.

Bathua also known as Cheel Bhaji or Chandan Bathua, it is a leafy vegetable seasonal to winter months. It is a close relative of spinach and prepared almost the same way. This plant is waxier and carries an earthy flavor. Bathua saag, raita and paranthas are some of its preparations. Common names are Chenopodium lamb’s quarters, melde, goosefoot and fat-hen and pigweed.
