Method
- Remove any thick stems from the Coriander Leaves and Mint Leaves. Wash both thoroughly under cold water and drain well.
- Add Cumin Seeds, Coriander Leaves, Mint Leaves, Green Chilies, Black Salt, Chaat Masala, Lemon Juice, Ice Cubes, and Chilled Water to a blender.
- Blend until smooth. Scrape the sides of the blender if needed and blend again until you have a smooth green chutney.
- In a bowl, whisk the Yogurt until completely smooth and creamy.
- Add the prepared green chutney to the whisked Yogurt and mix well until evenly combined.
- Taste and adjust the Salt, Green Chilies, or Lemon Juice according to your preference.
- Your Dahi Dhaniya Pudina Chutney is ready to serve. Serve chilled as a dip or side with Paneer Tikka, Tikki, Pakora, Samosa, Pulao, Kebabs, or any of your favorite snacks.
Tips
- Adjust The Spice: Increase or decrease the Green Chilies according to your taste.
- Use Thick Yogurt: For a thicker, creamier chutney, use Greek Yogurt or strained Yogurt.
- Keep The Color Bright: Ice Cubes and Chilled Water help keep the coriander and mint chutney fresh and vibrant green while blending.
- Adjust The Consistency: Add a little more Chilled Water if you prefer a thinner chutney or use less water for a thicker dip.
- Make Ahead: You can prepare the green chutney in advance and mix it with Yogurt just before serving for the freshest flavor.
- Storage: Store leftover Dahi Dhaniya Pudina Chutney in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use within 2 days. Mix well before serving.
