Tips for Making the Best Farali Green Chutney
  1. Use Fresh Herbs: Fresh coriander and mint leaves give the chutney its vibrant green color and refreshing flavor.
  2. Use Chilled Water: Cold water helps keep the chutney fresh-looking and makes blending easier.
  3. Adjust the Consistency: Add water gradually. Use less water for a thick dipping chutney and a little more for a thinner consistency.
  4. Balance the Flavors: Adjust the green chilies for heat and lime juice for tanginess according to your taste.
  5. Make It Creamy: Raw peanuts and freshly grated coconut give the chutney a smooth, rich texture without the need for yogurt.
  6. Check Your Fasting Rules: Ingredients allowed during vrat can vary by family and tradition. Check that the salt you use, along with all other ingredients, is suitable for your fasting practices.
  7. Store Properly: This chutney tastes best when freshly made. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use within 1 to 2 days. Stir well before serving.
