Masala
- Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
- When seeds crackle, add curry leaves, ginger-green chili paste, boiled - mashed potatoes, green peas, turmeric powder, coriander and salt one by one.
- Mix well and cook 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool.
Sandwich
- Take 2 slices of bread.
- Apply 1 tsp of butter and ½ tsp of green chutney on each slice and keep aside.
- Place the stuffing masala and spread it on one slice of bread.
- Now arrange few cucumber slices, onion slices, tomato slices, capsicum slices and cheese slices over the stuffing.
- Put another slice of bread over it with the buttered side facing downwards and press it lightly.
- Now place prepared sandwich in a greased toaster, spread 1 tsp of butter on it and cook till it turns brown.
- When it turns brown, remove from the toaster and place it on a plate. Now apply ½ tsp of butter evenly over it.
- Masala Cheese Toast Sandwich is ready to serve hot with tomato ketchup.
