Wash and rinse the rice and all dal for 3-4 times, then soak it for ½ hour.
Heat Ghee/Oil in the pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks, clove, dry red chilies, pinch of hing and saut for few seconds. Add ginger, green chili, red chili powder and again saut for few seconds.
Add chopped potatoes, green peas, beans, chopped carrot, peanuts and cashew nuts. Mix it well, and stir it for 2 minutes.
Add pre soaked and strained rice-dal mixture, salt, garam masala, turmeric powder and 3 cup water. Mix it well, cover the lid and cook it for 4-5 whistle.
After 4-5 whistle switch of the flame. Let it be cool down. Once it is cool down then remove the lid. Now add chopped coriander, mix well and serve khichdi top with dollop of ghee, sides with curd, papad or pickle.
