Paneer French Beans Masala Sabji with Coconut Peanuts Thick Gravy

Paneer French Beans Masala Sabji is NO ONION* – NO TOMATO – NO GARLIC – NO GINGER recipePaneer French Beans Masala Sabji is so simple and easy! So why wait see my recipe and I am sure you will like it. I just used chopped onion, but that is also optional. If you don’t want to use onion then you can skip it. My family just loved it; even they liked my new variation.

Ingredients:

• 3 cup chopped French Beans
• 1-2 cup Fried Paneer Cubes
• ½ cup chopped Onion (optional)
• ½ cup Finely Grated Fresh Coconuts
• ¼ cup Crushed Roasted Peanuts
• ¼ tsp Mustard Seeds
• ¼ tsp cumin Seeds
• 1 green Chili chopped
• 1-2 tsp Red Chili Powder
• ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
• ½ tsp Garam Masala
• Pinch of Hing/Asafoetida
• Salt
• 1 tsp Sugar (optional)
• Oil

Method:

1. Wash and drain chopped French beans and keep aside.
2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a deep pan and add mustards seeds, cumin seeds.
3. When seeds crackle, add pinch of hing then add grated coconuts and sauté for a minute.
4. Now add green chili, crushed peanut and again sauté for a minute.
5. Add red chili powder, turmeric, salt, and stir again.
6. Now add chopped French beans, chopped onion, 1tbsp water (if needed) and mix well then cover the lid and cook for 10-15 minutes on low flame.
7. While cooking check and stir 2-3 times or occasionally.
8. Add fried Paneer cube and mix well and cover the lid again for 2-3 minutes, so Paneer well mix in French bean masala.
9. Add garam masala and sugar (optional), mix well and cook on medium flame without cover the lid for minutes.
10. Switch of the flame and serve hot with roti, paratha, or rice. This is a perfect side dish with any Indian flat bread.
