• 8-12 slices of Sandwich bread (white or brown)
• 1 cup Capsicum/Bell Pepper Finely Chopped
• 1 cup Onion Finely Chopped
• 1-2 Green Chilies Finely Chopped
• ¼ cup Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves
• 1 tsp Red Chili Flakes
• 1 tsp Chaat Masala
• Salt
• 1 cup Shredded Amul or Mozzarella Cheese
• ½ cup Green Sandwich Chutney
• Butter for Spreading and Roasting
• Sev, Extra Cheese, and Chaat masala for Garnish
• Spicy Ketchup and Green chutney for serving
Method
1. In a bowl, mix capsicum, onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, red chili flakes, chaat masala, and salt to prepare the filling.
2. Take three bread slices. Spread butter one side of each bread slice. Spread green chutney over two buttered slices.
3. Place spoonful of filling on the chutney-covered slices and top with shredded cheese.
4. Stack the two slices with filling side up and cover with the third slice, buttered side down.
5. Apply or brush the butter inside the sandwich mold. Roast the sandwich in a hand toaster or sandwich maker, until crisp and golden on both sides. You can roast sandwich over the hot griddle, pressing with flat spatula, if you don’t have sandwich maker.
6. Transfer to a plate, crosscut into four triangles, and garnish with butter, shredded cheese, sev, and chaat masala.
