10 Minutes Microwave Cheesy Broccoli

10 Minutes Microwave Cheesy Broccoli

10 Minutes Microwave Cheesy Broccoli is super easy to make. It is quick, delicious, creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor side dishes for any meal, that even your kids will devour. This dish is made with broccoli, cheese, and seasoning, come together in just 10 mins. While you steam the broccoli, cook your sauce on a stovetop, then mix it and done, that’s simple as it gets.

Broccoli and cheese are the best delicious combination ever. It’s the best way to encourage your loved ones to eat something healthy green. Cheese sauce transforms everyday vegetables into suitable dishes to serve guests of all ages. It also adds enough creamy and comforting flavor to convince veggie resistant to eat their broccoli.

10 Minutes Microwave Cheesy Broccoli

Ingredients
• 4 cup Broccoli Florets Fresh or Frozen
• 2 tbsp Water
• ½ tsp Salt
• ¼ tsp Ground Pepper

For Sauce
• 1 cup Milk
• 2 tbsp Butter
• 2 tbsp Flour
• 1 tsp Minced Garlic
• ¼ tsp Onion Powder
• ¼ tsp Ground Pepper
• 1 cup American Process Cheese Cubed in Small Pieces (Velveeta)
• ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes for Top
• ¼ cup Grated Parmesan for Top

Method
1. Place the broccoli florets in a glass bowl, add water, sprinkle salt and pepper. Cover with a lid or plate or plastic cling wrap.
2. Cook the broccoli in a microwave on high for 5-6 mins.
3. In the meanwhile, you can start preparing the Sauce.

For sauce
1. Take a saucepan, add milk, butter, flour, and mix it well, make sure no lumps.
2. Add garlic, onion powder, ground pepper and cheese.
3. Cook on a stove on medium heat, stirring continuously for about 4 mins until smooth pourable texture.
4. Now pour the prepared sauce into the microwaved broccoli and mix it well.
5. Sprinkle parmesan and red pepper flakes on the top and serve it.

Tips
• You can also add veggies like cauliflower, carrots, onion, etc.
• Use Mac and Cheese sauce instead of American cheese or mix of cheddar, Monterey jack and parmesan.

Achari Dahi Bhindi ‘Achari’ means pickling whi Achari Dahi Bhindi
‘Achari’ means pickling which is made using a mix of spices. So, we are using pickle masala in this recipe but very less which making this dish flavorful and unique.
There are of course regional variations of Achari dishes.
