Hi I really want to try this but do you know if I can reduce the sugar from 1/4 cup to just 1 tbsp? Your photos make this cake look absolutely delicious!!! Please let me know and thank you! 🙂
Hey Ashley, yes you can reduce the sugar as per you choice but it taste little bit different or you can use sugar free like stevia for sweeter taste. thank you 🙂
Hi I tried this and it was very delicious! However, the chocolate didn’t melt, and I think it could be because of my chocolate’s quality..do you think using chocolate chips would be okay?
Thank you for your feedback! Yes! Ashley you can use chocolate chips!
Hi Binjai! Just saw this recipe and I really want to give it a try!!! But the sugar amount.. 🙁 ..Do you know why almost every recipes uses the same amount of sugar and flour? I was thinking of reducing from 1/4 cup of sugar to 1 tbsp, or maybe even just 2 tsp..do you think that’ll work? Also, does the molten lava part of the cake mean that it’s uncooked? Please let me know and thank you! 😉 Hopefully I’ll be able to try this if only the sugar can be lessened.. hehe
Looks amazing!!!!! Will try soon!
Thanks Muzna!
The chocolate did not melt. Choclate pieces were at the bottom of the cake. Everything else was good but no lava. I even tried melting the chocolate PCs and then put them but it did not work. Please advice. I baked on high power
Which kind of chocolate you used? do not use baking chocolate! use cadbury silk type of chocolate for best result.
