Broccoli Tikki Chat

Broccoli Tikki Chaat is the perfect snack for all the fussy eaters at home! Broccoli Tikki Chaat is healthy delight to the body. Broccoli Tikki Chaat is colorfully appealing to the eye. A lip-smacking chaat that is loved all over India, and now globally too, chaat is most enjoyed at roadside stalls, but it is definitely more satisfying when you make it at home with healthy version for your family. Here, we show you how to make Broccoli Tikki Chat. Also pay special attention to arranging this preparation, with curd, chutneys and fresh, crispy sev!

Broccoli Tikki Chat

Ingredients:

• 1 cup Finely Chopped Broccoli
• 2 tsp Oil
• ½ cup Finely Chopped Onions
• 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
• 1 tsp Green Chili Paste
• ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
• 3-4 Boiled and Peeled Potatoes (Medium Size)
• 2 tbsp Corn Flour
• Salt
• 1 tsp Oil for Greasing and Cooking

Other Ingredients
• ½ cup Green Chutney
• ½ cup Sweet Tamarind Chutney
• 1 cup Whisked Curds
• ½ cup Chopped Onion
• ¼ cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
• ¼ cup Grated Beetroot and Carrot
• 1 cup Sev

Method:

1. Heat the oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, green chilies paste, and mix well, sauté on a medium flame.

2. Add onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes or till golden brown.

3. Add broccoli, salt, and mix well, sauté on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

4. Remove from the flame, transfer to a bowl and allow it to cool completely.

5. Once cooled, add the potatoes, mash it and mix well.

6. Add turmeric powder, corn flour, and mix well.

7. Now make Tikkis into flat rounds shape from prepared mixture.

8. Grease the tava/griddle, using 1/2 tsp of oil and cook the Tikkis using the 1 tsp of oil, till the both the sides of Tikkis turn into the golden brown color.

9. Now Broccoli Tikki is ready, remove it from the pan, and then place 2 Tikkis in serving plate.
10. Spread 2 tbsp curds, 1½ tsp green chutney and 1 tbsp sweet chutney evenly over it.
11. Finally sprinkle 2 tsp of sev, grated beetroot-carrot, coriander leaves and chopped onion evenly over it.
12. Repeat the same processes for more plates and serve.
13. Now Broccoli Tikki Chaat is ready to serve.
