Veggie Burger

Veggie Burger

Veggie Burger

Veggie Burger is one of my favorite! It has everything what I want, healthy and tasty. This burger made with chickpeas/Garbanzo beans, multigrain flour and veggies like carrot, capsicum, red bell pepper with nutty flavor. Satisfy your appetite with a great-taste and it’s easy to make and can be ready in less than 30 minutes. This meatless and eggless burgers are totally awesome. I think I’d rather have one than any cheeseburger at a restaurant.

Veggie Burger

In present-days kids love pizza, sandwich, fries and lots of junk food at outside eateries/restaurants, and burger is one of them too. But we all knows that these foods are not healthy. It can be healthier than outside eateries, when you make this at home with your own wholesome ingredients.

Even my family and I would love to eat outside burger, however being pure vegetarian (even no egg) we are not doing so as sometime eggs are being used to make Veggie Burger patties, now every time it is not possible to find out about that before you eat. . This things always inspiring me to make such a food at home.

Veggie Burger

How to Serve or Assemble

1. Cut each burger bun horizontally into halve. Apply ½ tsp of butter on each half sides of the burger bun, then spread mayonnaise on the buttered side.
2. Place the lower half of the bun on a clean, dry surface with the buttered-spread side facing up. Place a lettuce leaf, onion slices, tomato slices, prepared cutlet and cheese slice, then again place tomato-onion slice and cover with an upper half of the bun with the buttered–spread side facing down and press it lightly.
3. Now your Veggie Burger is ready. You can serve Veggie Burger with ketchup, mustard sauce and side with French fries, fresh juice.

Veggie Burger Tips:

• You can use canned chickpeas/garbanzo beans instead of overnight soaked and cooked.
• You can store burger patties in a ziplock bag inside a freezer for one week. Whenever you want to use, remove it from the freezer, set them into room temperature and then cook it on a griddle before use.
• You can use any pepper like yellow, red as per your choice.
• you can skip the cheese slice and use vegan butter it can be perfect for vegan food.
• I have not mentioned other ingredients quantity like cheese slice, tomato-onion slice, butter or mayonnaise, because it all you use as per your choice or taste.
• If you like toasted burger bun, then just before assembling you can toast it on a griddle with applying little butter till light brown on medium heat.
